Your Experience Deconstructed

Your adventure kicks off with a brief orientation, where you will learn about the astronaut you're about to meet, their space missions, and important safety guidelines. Then, you will be led to a dedicated meeting area where you will have the opportunity to meet an astronaut.

During the encounter, the astronaut will share their extraordinary journey, starting with their path to becoming an astronaut and the rigorous training they underwent. They dive into the thrilling experiences of liftoff, spacewalks, and daily life aboard spacecraft. The conversation is highly interactive and you get to ask any questions you have about space exploration and the life of an astronaut. Many of these encounters involve visual aids like photographs, videos, or even actual space mission artifacts, making the experience that much more exciting!

Towards the end of the meeting, you can get a signed portrait of the astronaut to take home with you! Your experience doesn’t end here, you still have the rest of the day to explore the many attractions inside Kennedy Space Center.
